Saving a conversation from Messages or WhatsApp
Screenshot it, share it to Cue, and choose when to come back.
Can’t reply right now? Cue can bring the conversation back later.
- Take a screenshot of the conversation (press the side button and volume up).
- Tap the screenshot thumbnail, then tap Share — or share it from Photos later.
- Choose Cue.
- Pick a reminder such as In 1 hour, then tap Remind me.
Messages screenshots get a smart title. Cue recognizes an iMessage/Messages screenshot on your phone and names the save after the person, for example “Message from Sam”. This happens entirely on your device.
WhatsApp and other messaging apps are saved as ordinary screenshots (or as text, if you share a message’s text instead). Add a note if you want the title to say who it’s from.
When the reminder fires, tap it to open the saved screenshot in Cue and pick up where you left off. Cue can’t open the exact conversation for you — it brings back the context you saved.
Cue never reads your messages in the background. It only sees the screenshot or text you deliberately share.
